I was born and raised in Woodland, CA along with my whole family. College educated then I went into the oil industry as a land agent. After a short stint at that I became a grain buyer that covered the whole Sacramento Valley.

I started my real estate career at the age of 24 in 1976 after being groomed for the real estate job by my two previous jobs, I formed Farm & Ranch Realty and have continued working the Sacramento Valley until today.

In my 35 years experience I have had the privilege of selling, purchasing, developing all sorts of agricultural properties. Projects include development of government programs, such as Wetland Land Reserve, EQIP, WHIP, CREP, CRP, etc. With this experience and my dealings with the county's planning departments I have been able to do lot line adjustments, parcel maps, conservation easements, Certificate of Compliance, Williamson Act contract revisions, etc. and become very acquainted with their policies and procedures.

Farm management is another part of expertise. I also farm with my family on our ranches and leased properties. We grow rich, corn, wheat safflower, sunflowers and walnuts.

I was born and raised in Yolo County to a farming family in the Sacramento Valley. After graduating from high school I went to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo earning a B.S. degree in Farm Management. Upon graduation from Cal Poly, I returned to Yolo County with my wife Vicki, raised two daughters, and farmed for about 20 years. While farming, I was active in the Yolo County Farm Bureau being on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. For over 25 years, I have been a licensed Real Estate Broker specializing in helping people to buy, sell or trade agricultural properties throughout Northern California
